For my self-portraits, I used at 10 second timer. I placed my camera on multiple boxes to position it. I use also put it on auto focus. I took the pictures in my room under a Florissant lighting. For the first picture I was standing again the wall in glittery pumps, with a self-timer of 10 seconds. I also put that same picture in black and white because it looked just as strong as the colored one. The second picture is of me covering half of my face with a scarf. This was also taken a with a self-timer of 10 seconds. I like the contrast between the texture of the scarf and the smoothness of the face. You can also see the reflection of the camera in the which creates shapes and the scarfs also has lines. My third picture was take by looking at a mirror. I had a contrast of colors and black and white. One thing i love about this picture is that the bead like things on the shirt create a kinda of like bokeh effect on the shirt. I just find that really cool. This picture consists of color, black and white, lines and shapes because of the shirt and shapes because of the camera lens. The successful thing about my photographs was that they all had different elements in it. My favorite picture would the ones in heels. I really like the reflection of the glitter on the wall and the floor. :)
